In January 2026 our planning application for our site at Dry Street, Basildon was validated.   The proposal seeks to deliver up to 61 new homes. These homes will be prioritised for key workers at Basildon Hospital, located just a five-minute walk from the site. The intention is that a housing association will deliver the entire scheme. We’re proud to be promoting sustainable development and supporting those who keep our communities running.

The RO Land team held a public consultation event at Halstead Village Hall in December 2025. The consultation website is located here.   Carter Jonas attended the event to present the evolving masterplan. The event was well attended, with around 100 local residents providing their feedback.   The team will now review all feedback received, and finalise a planning application in the coming months.
