Great Chishill

RO Land conducted a survey of the Great Chishill community and neighbouring villages between 8th April and 26th May 2022.
This was to help understand attitudes towards development on the 1.8 acre field south of Hall Lane.
RO Land is a land promotion business that has been appointed by the owners of the land. We are part of the RO Group, which is a Hertfordshire based family business with interests in property investment and development, green energy and venture capital.

We are considering the potential development of the site for; market housing aimed at families, affordable housing, starter homes, downsizer or retirement housing, or some combination of all four.

Affordable housing could comprise traditional affordable rented property, or intermediate housing, for example property rented at a discount to market value, Key worker housing, shared equity or shared ownership.
The two larger fields north of Hall Lane; Bull Meadow and Wright’s Meadow (denoted by the larger area outlined in white) are also in the same ownership and could be used for public open space, additional land for the pub, areas for biodiversity enhancement, a community orchard, or as additional space for the cricket club.
